Greetings to the world of Eses! We will start our journey in Rasbach. A small village of 788 people located in the Kirh county of The Hofburgia. The buildings have walls made of narrow bricks decorated with strips of metal, and roofs are flat and made of stone tiles. The doors are narrow and made of heavy wood. Windows are small and square. For decoration, geometric shapes are carved into the trim. It exports rice beer and imports shale. The mayor is Zaeh Chathe, a 56-year-old Swazen high elven man. There are 5 main areas in Rasbach:
Hay Road: This is the main area of Rasbach, Hay Road includes the road coming from the East (Eastern Hay Road), and the area of the village located within the walls, and the road leading to the South West (Southern Hay Road). The majority of the village activities and daily life goes on within the Hay Road sector. There is a tavern, the Lusty Dragon in Hay Road, this is where most celebrations are drunkenly ended. Various shops are located in this part of the village, any sort of shop you might need or want.
Meatrow: This is the area that the village's rougher citizens hang around North of the village. Primarily used for livestock slaughter and shadier business. You might be able to find a job or adventure in the Meatrow's tavern, The Serpent's Tongue, but be careful of what you agree to!
Wheatbrook: The area in the southeastern outer sector of the village. This is where the majority of workers are during the day, the village produces a vast amount of Rice Beer in the breweries here. Rasbach is known for this drink, and it is the main export. You will find laborers her.
Sunreach: This is the village's holy site. A large building that is located East of Meatrow. The village priest resides here with a young bride dubbed the "Godsbride". Rasbach's villagers offer the priest a selection of young women to be bride for the Gods each year at the festival. The Godsbride is an honored title and she has responsibilities for the year. This includes taking care of Sunreach's household duties, as well as sleeping with the priest as he is a representative of the Gods themselves, and she is to please him as if he is a God himself. After the year is up, if she is not with child, she is sent back to her family to live a normal life. If she becomes pregnant with the priest's child, she is to stay at Sunreach until the child reaches the age of 5, during this time, they are taken care of by the next year's Godsbride. After the child is 5, the mother is sent home, and the child is kept at Sunreach and cared for by the Godsbride until the child is 15. During this time, the child is taught the ways of the world, including combat. After the child is 15, they are sent into the world to quest and fend for themselves as a "Child of the Holy". These children roam the world and teach their religion for 15 more years. Then they return at the age of 30 to defend Sunreach until their death. There are currently only 10 Children of the Holy currently housed at Sunreach, 4 are guards.
Farms are located Northwest of the village. This is where all the food is grown for the village, and where the ingredients are grown for the Rasbach Rice Beer.
The annual festival is set for two weeks after your arrival. This is the festival where the Godsbride is chosen for the year. The villagers are rushing to complete last minute preparations for the festival. The town is buzzing with rumors and goings on.

Eses is what the people of this world call their known lands. Comprised of two continents separated by a approximately 400 miles of sea. This world has a diverse range of people and culture. There are many nations that are at odds with each other. The world is not at peace, but not entirely at war.
Hofburgia:
Located on the Western Continent, Hofburgia is a mostly grassland country with a few forests. The culture is based on hunting and trade. Most towns are religious, Witnesses to Richenher, which is a Polytheistic religion that usually focuses on Richenher and the Amber Rook. Richenher is the central God. The Amber Rook is more of a fit where she must figure, she is represented by the Godsbride and the Children of the Holy.
Hofburgia is at war currently with the Pasti Horde and the Kingdom of Sultaland. These two states border Hofsburgia to the North (100 miles from Rasbach) The border is a hostile zone, the different armies patrol the border and often get into skirmishes. Travelers beware, the regiments act as little more than bandits with sigils. Avoid if you do not want conflict, visit if you want to get into it!
Rasbach:
A mostly peaceful village, walled in with wooden barriers to protect from threats, the people here are friendly and kind. They have travelers from all around come for short stays while travelling around the area. Hunters and traders usually visit with goods. There is a darker side to this town as well, if you are looking for some less legal ways to spend your time. There are around around 750 - 800 people in Rasbach. You can find any manner of work here, the tavern on the Hay Road has a bulletin board with job postings, pick one up and see where it takes you!
