Speaking of which we can use skills on each other like Intimidate correct? If so how exactly does that work?

yes, whoever is trying to intimidate has to roll, then add modifiers. Then whoever is being intimidated has to roll a Charisma save? (Matt will have to answer in full, since he is DM) But that is essentially how it works.

And Tolr'ax is getting a BAD VIBE from this place, and he aint happy about it in the least. He also isnt happy with himself about the ants. He was fully prepared to fight all 30 and die trying..he would have hoped Olo would have written a song about his bravery.

Oh no doubt, but the main issue is Jamros kinda blames you for putting us in a hurry to get out of here because you wanted a bug sword

And thats fair. He kinda feels bad about it too. He really didnt expect there to be 30 ants outside. They all were there mourning their friend Franklin.

Everyone is on edge ever since I dug my blade into Franklin's thorax, but sadly we must put his mourning aside and work together.

A'mryl isn't either. Elves don't like being told what to do.

I'm gonna put my two cents in here....I know you're in character and kudos for being so passionate. But even in fantasy, nobody appreciates being disrespected around every turn. If it was more pointed at me I'd probably be angry too. This is my first experience with 5e and with a group that is so committed to character so it's been an adjustment for me. And maybe we should just let the tension play out on the game thread. Either way, I don't want it to get to a point where we're constantly fighting each other instead of having fun.

It's a moment of tension between a new group. Tolr'ax will come around, he had a moment in the bubble where he felt wrong. He's a strong guy who is used to getting his way. Once we start moving down the tunnel, he will start relying on the darkvision of Jamros and Amryl, and anyone else that has DV. He wont be happy in the dark. Don't worry! It's a fun adventure ahead!

Also, he has a soft spot for Olo, she gave him her sock....he also needs to get some pants on soon. Which he was going to make the Ant parts into (some sort of codpiece) but he threw them away.

Woo! All those things are wonderful. I'm Joey, this is my first ever DnD game, but I've always enjoyed watching others play it. I love video games such as Fallout and GTA, I repair electronics, and love coffee, and of course my family of my Wife, 11 month old daughter, 2 dogs and a cat as of yesterday.

There's being committed, then there's being overcommitted. Remember it's a game, and it's meant to be fun. When you have your character do stupid, mean, or needlessly overt stuff because it's "in his character," then I may be forced to murder your character.
